recently i had been mugging alot for prelims and indirectly for Os.
it has been really stressful to think about the amount of things we havent got a clue about. especially when Os are in less than 50 days.
but throughout this period of intense mugging and extensive tiredness, i have been trusting god. reading his word faithfully everynight even if i was tempted to just sleep.
i dare to say, it is definitely much different than usual.
i have not been reading the word for months i think?
only occasionally.

but this exam period i decided to spend time with him more.
and true enough, i felt more at ease during the examination.
he has been speaking to me every night through the word of god.
it is indeed amazing how he brought back so many things to my mind.
things i am supposed to be doing but i'm not.
new things he wants me to do and more.
before every paper, i mde it a point to pray.
not only for myself but for the entire level who's taking the papers as well, as well as the people i know who are taking their prelims(yes you sec fours included. =) )
and he gave me strength to pull through the paper even though my eyes were closing.
and he expanded my time.
i did not have to rush through any paper this exam and i managed to complete the entire paper before the time limit was up, giving me ample time to check for mistakes.
even though i felt that i did not remember everything i needed to know, i could answer most of the questions.
its amazing to know that he actually helped me through such a small matter like this.
compared to other major things like depression or financial difficulty.
he taught me to trust him to do my best and he'll do the rest.
indeed god is to be praised.
before i go, here're some bible verses that spoke very much to me.

hebrews 13:5 stay away from the love of money; be satisfied with what you have. for GOD has said, "i will never leave you, i will never forsake you." that is why we can say with confidence, " the LORD is my helper, i will not be afraid. what can mere mortals do to me?"

hebrews 13:17 obey yout spiritual leaders and follow what they say. their work is to watch over your souls, and they know they are accountable to GOD. give them reason to do this joyfully and not with sorrow. that would certainly not be for your benefit.

Hellooo. Hey sec 4s. Hope the prelims went alrite. Whatever it is just concentrate on the upcoming O levels. Focus focus focus. The rest of us, let's keep them in prayer all throughout these last few months.
Sorry I couldn't be there on Sunday girls. I had diarrohea. Not the most glamorous of things to come down with. Haha. Ate some of my grandma's really good but often lethal chilli meat. Suffer for pleasure?? Haha.
Just an announcement. There will be cell group next wed. Time n place will be at 530 at TC. Please sms or tell me on Sunday if you can't go and why.
Also, our dear Charlene is getting baptised!! BUT BUT BUT, not this month afterall. She had to postpone till next month because her parents can't make it this Friday. SO, we will go support but only next month.

hey guys.
im writing this while taking a break frm studying.
as u all know,
all sec fours arnd singapore are definitely in the midst of prelims in one way or another.
so here are some prayer pointers for everyone.
pray for all the sec 4s u knw, and not only those in our CG.
rmbr, we want to pastor a church outside the church.
(see jerrine? i was listening. haha)

PRAYER POINTERS:

*that God's mercy and grace will be with us through all the papers. and that watever we studied will be tested (muahaha). and also for His protection when we're going to and frm sch.

*that God's strength would be upon those who need to burn the midnight oil because they *ahem* hvnt been studying hard. haha.

*that we will find favour with the markers so that we wouldnt be shortchanged of marks we deserve.

*that God's peace will be with us as we walk into the exam hall.

*God's protection that we will not fall ill.

*and lastly, that we can come out of this prelims sane and well, able to face the next big challenge that's coming in abt two months.

and to all the sec 4s..
JIAYOU!! ((: we can do it.

Well well, I have been hearing talks about other cells having blogs and have been bugged recently by a fellow church leader to let my fingers do the walking on blogs. Alas, I declined starting my own blog but seeing as to how Rachel has kindly(and so brilliantly) thought of starting this, I shall use this blog to inform you all on things you miss out at cell, personal sharings from me to you as well as to start discussions maybe.
Firstly, got to thank Rachel on starting this. Maybe you can play around with the look of it so its all more interesting. Secondly, thanks for all the prayers for my interview at mediacorp radio. I got throught the voice audition (thank god) after a nerve wrecking wait in a quiet hallway. Reminded me of pri sch oral exams. I read through everything like a train was chasing after me but still they said I had a nice voice....again...thanks god. The written wasn't so easy and I didn't finish it so pray for favour please? merci.
Ok...now onto the practical use of ze blog. There is a network meeting on FRIDAY night at TC at 7pm. Please all try your hardest to make your presence felt. Thank you very much. SMS me if you are not coming. Please please please don't wait till after the event or after I msg you to inform me. Always inform early please. Thanks. See you all there!
